About Keron

Family & Upbringings

Keron Meeks was born and raised in Clover, South Carolina, the youngest of six children. A proud product of Clover School District, he attended local schools throughout his childhood and graduated from Clover High School in 2003.

Keron and his wife, Brandi, are parents to five children. Four are CHS graduates, and their youngest is currently a junior at Lake Wylie High School. Their family’s roots in the district now extend to a new generation — Keron has two grandchildren enrolled at Crowders Creek Elementary.

Keron’s lifelong connection to Clover, his commitment to family, and his deep investment in the success of students across the district shape his dedication to serving the community he has always called home.

Work, Service, and Dedication

Keron attended South Carolina State University and later graduated from York Technical College in Rock Hill. For the past 15 years, he has built a successful career as an engineer, traveling across the region to audit suppliers, strengthen partnerships, and solve complex problems for customers. His work is rooted in accountability, relationship‑building, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Keron is deeply invested in serving the community that shaped him. He serves on the boards of the United Men’s Club of Clover, Habitat for Humanity York County, Roosevelt Community Watch, and the Willie Green Foundation. He is also a member of the Lake Wylie Rotary Club. When time permits, Keron volunteers as a juvenile arbitrator for York County, helping guide young people toward better choices and brighter futures. He leads the Brotherhood Breakfast program within CSD and is the captain for Oakridge Elementary's All Pro Dad Program.

Keron’s dedication to service—both in his career and in his community—reflects his belief that leadership begins with showing up, listening, and doing the work the right way.  This year, Keron was honored as the Clover High School Community Member of the Year and received the Uplifting Families Award from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, recognition that reflects his steady commitment to service, integrity, and the well‑being of families across the community.
